Material Description:

Our 10mm x 3mm countersunk N52 ring magnets are designed for professional engineering, cabinetry, and fabrication projects where traditional adhesive bonding isn't ideal. The built-in 3mm countersunk hole allows the magnet to be securely screwed into wood, plastic, or non-magnetic metals. Because the flathead screw sits perfectly flush with the magnet's surface, it permits direct metal-to-magnet contact without interference, maximizing the available 5.8 lbs of holding force for robust, heavy-duty closure systems.

Handling Advice: DANGER: Countersunk ring magnets require careful installation. Neodymium is inherently brittle like ceramic. Over-tightening screws can cause the magnet to crack or split at the recessed center point. Hand-tighten screws with care. These magnets also possess high snap velocity; never let them free-fly together or snap onto steel tools, as they will shatter upon impact.

Warnings and Safety Information:

  • Fragility Hazard: Do not over-tighten screws. Impact from snapping together WILL break the ring profile.
  • Pinch Hazard: Strong enough to cause painful skin pinches or blood blisters. Handle with caution.
  • CHOKING HAZARD: Small size is dangerous for children and pets. Keep strictly secured.
  • Medical Safety: KEEP AWAY from pacemakers and sensitive medical implants at all times.

Applications:

  • Heavy-duty magnetic closures for high-end custom cabinetry, wardrobes, and secret doors
  • Mechanical anchoring for removable wall panels, access covers, and ceiling graphics
  • Workshop tool organization, tool racks, and securing removable jigs or fixtures
  • Secure, screw-in latches for heavy-duty 3D-printed enclosures and machine guards
  • Magnetic quick-release mounting plates for signs, retail displays, and presentation frames
