Material Description:
Our 12x12x0.5mm N52 blocks are designed for applications where thickness is critically limited but a large contact area is essential. The 12mm square footprint allows for an exceptionally secure hold, making it ideal for securing heavy cardstock, folder flaps, or hidden panels in luxury packaging. Its geometric shape ensures it won't rotate or shift when embedded into precision-cut recesses.
Handling Note: Due to the large surface area and extreme thinness, these magnets are highly fragile. They are prone to snapping if allowed to jump toward metal surfaces. Always separate them by sliding the top magnet off the stack horizontally and handle with extreme care to avoid cracking the brittle neodymium core.
Warnings and Safety Information:
- Choking Hazard: Small size is dangerous for children and pets. Keep strictly in a secure container.
- Medical Safety: Keep away from pacemakers and sensitive medical implants.
- Fragility: Neodymium is a ceramic; wide, thin blocks can shatter upon impact. Handle with extreme care.
- Electronics: Safe for modern devices at a distance, but avoid direct contact with magnetic storage media.
Applications:
- Magnetic closures for luxury portfolios, menu covers, and presentation boxes
- Stealth mounting for graphics and signage in museum and gallery displays
- Hidden latches for high-end furniture veneers and cabinetry
- Precision sensors in ultra-slim industrial electronic prototypes
- Architectural scale modeling where a wide, flat magnetic bond is required
