Material Description:
Our 3x3x1mm N52 blocks are designed for technical applications requiring exact dimensions. The ±0.05mm tolerance ensures these magnets fit perfectly into CNC-machined pockets or 3D-printed recesses. With a square profile, they offer a larger bonding surface area than a 3mm disc, preventing the magnet from spinning or shifting once glued into place.
Handling Advice: N52 material is exceptionally brittle. Because of the sharp corners on square blocks, they are prone to chipping if allowed to snap together. Always separate them by sliding the top magnet off the stack and handle with care using non-magnetic tools.
Warnings and Safety Information:
- Choking Hazard: Small size is extremely dangerous for children and pets. Keep strictly in a secure container.
- Handling: Use plastic or non-magnetic tweezers to avoid scratching the nickel plating or chipping the edges.
- Medical Safety: Keep away from pacemakers and sensitive medical implants.
- Electronics: Safe for most modern devices at a distance, but avoid direct contact with magnetic storage media.
Applications:
- Precision 3D-printed enclosures and removable panels
- Articulation for high-end gaming miniatures and scale models
- Industrial Hall-effect sensor triggers and micro-switches
- Magnetic "tiling" for custom modular displays
- Bespoke jewelry boxes and high-end stationery closures
