Available Options

4mm x 3mm (5/32" x 1/8") Neodymium Cylinder Magnet – N52 Grade | High-Performance Pull Force

Key Features:

  • Dimensions: 4mm diameter × 3mm thickness (Approx. 5/32" × 1/8")
  • Magnet Grade: N52
  • Pull Force: Approx. 1.25 lbs (Designed for a heavy-duty hold)
  • Coating: Nickel-Copper-Nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni) triple-layer plating for corrosion resistance
  • Magnetization: Axially magnetized (Poles on the flat circular ends)
  • Shape: Cylinder / Thick Disc

Material Description:

Our 4x3mm N52 cylinders are designed for maximum efficiency in a compact form factor. Because the thickness (3mm) is nearly equal to the diameter, these magnets create a very deep and concentrated magnetic field. They are the strongest choice for 4mm diameter applications requiring high vertical holding power.

Handling Tip: N52 magnets are brittle. Due to the high pull force of this 3mm thick version, they can snap together with enough speed to chip. Always slide magnets apart and handle with care.

Warnings and Safety Information:

  • Choking Hazard: Small size is dangerous for children and pets. Keep strictly in a secure container.
  • Pinch Hazard: The N52 pull force at this thickness is strong enough to cause a painful pinch. Handle with caution.
  • Medical Safety: Keep away from pacemakers and other sensitive medical implants.
  • Electronics: Avoid direct contact with magnetic storage media and mechanical watches.

Applications:

  • Heavy-duty miniature articulation (swapping arms/weapons on larger figures)
  • Magnetic sensors and industrial reed switches
  • DIY home organization (magnetic tool racks, heavy spice jars)
  • Advanced 3D printing (embedding magnets into deep-drilled parts)
  • Scientific experiments and physics demonstrations
