Material Description:
Our 8mm N35 spheres are built for structural and interactive applications that require a larger spherical footprint. The 8mm diameter provides excellent grip and visibility, making them ideal for architectural models, industrial prototyping, and custom joint articulation in large-scale figurines. These spheres naturally align their poles upon contact, creating a "self-centering" joint that provides a satisfying and secure connection every time.
Handling Advice: NOTICE: These magnets carry significant mass. Due to their 8mm size and magnetic strength, they can roll quickly and snap together with force. While N35 is more durable than N52, high-impact collisions can still chip the plating or the ceramic core. We recommend handling them over a padded or non-magnetic surface to prevent runaway magnets and impact damage.
Warnings and Safety Information:
- CHOKING & INGESTION HAZARD: Extremely dangerous if swallowed. Keep strictly away from children and pets.
- Ingestion Warning: Swallowed magnets can attract through tissue, causing fatal internal damage. SEEK IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION if ingestion is suspected.
- Pinch Hazard: Large enough to cause minor skin pinches. Handle with a steady grip.
- Medical Safety: KEEP AWAY from pacemakers and sensitive medical implants.
Applications:
- Structural ball-and-socket joints for large-scale figurines and props
- Interactive architectural models and complex structural prototypes
- Heavy-duty magnetic closures for bags, apparel, and costumes
- Educational physics demonstrations and magnetic flux visualization
- DIY magnetic tool organization and workshop "fidget" sculptures
